Google Chrome Lost Page Rank And Goes Down In SERP
The fault is not any loss of interest from users, but Google itself, the company and decided to temporarily reduce the rating page for Google Chrome in its search engine. Decision after a minor scandal had with an independent advertising directly affects how the Google Chrome browser references appear on pages with search engine results.
Apparently, Google has chosen a strategy to promote not just honest its web browser,paying more bloggers to write articles favorable to the Google Chrome, a gesture that the company violated its own rules on the promotion of sponsored links. Once these practices were exposed, Google has tried to repair the image of treating his own product - Google Chrome, the same rules that apply to other companies that pay to be promoted in the search engine pages. The decision to reduce your page ranking on Google Chrome is not a permanent measure, it will expire after 60 days.
Although temporary measure taken by Google managed to put Chrome web browser on a negative trend, with a market share reduced from 19.11% in December, from 18.94% in January. Some users of Google Chrome lost were “intercepted” by Internet Explorer,which increased by 1.1% over the same period, reaching a market share of 52.96%.
However, if we consider a time slightly larger, between November 2010 and December 2011, Google Chrome market share increased from 9.57% to 19.11%, while Internet Explorer fell from 60.35% 52.96% only by year-end.
Firefox is perhaps the most oppressed and managed to drop only about 1% last month,leaving a market share of 20.88%.
